Even with everyone in the kingdom lending a hand, the Prince will still not go to bed! The cook brings biscuits, the maid brings hot milk and the physician brings medicine, but the young Prince will not sleep. So the King and the Queen try an entire troupe of dancers, a mustached musician, a feather down quilt and even a cake! Still, the Prince will not close his eyes. Will the strange woman at the palace gate hold the key to the Prince's slumber? This new paperback edition includes online access to the audio recording of the story read by actor Hugh Bonneville, the BAFTA-nominated, well-loved actor who has starred in many films and TV series, such as Notting Hill, Doctor Who and Downton Abbey.

“This spirited tale may not lull little ones to sleep, but it will surely put a smile on their faces” — Publishers Weekly

“My favourite aspect about most of Barefoot Books is their illustrations. I love the rich colours and worldly feel. The Prince’s Bedtime uses these rich, page-filling illustrations” — Everything Mom
