Nicole's Barefoot Story
When my daughter was young, books allowed us to bond so well. We would cuddle on the couch for what seemed like hours and read book after book after book. I truly believe it is what developed her interest and love for reading books. My lap had a lot to offer: we could travel to far away countries or experience things we never had the opportunity to in real life through a variety of characters & settings, it was a safe comfortable and warm place, it is where a lot of love and security was experienced for my daughter. I encourage other moms and dads to connect with their children through literature.
