Just over nine years ago I was pregnant and came across a business opportunity to sell children's books. I was familiar with Barefoot Books as I had many of them in my Montessori school library and loved them. I have always wanted to own a book store and now I could, selling some of the most beautiful stories I have ever seen.

Now, nine years later, my children have lists of their favourite Barefoot Books and still insist on opening boxes of new ones before I even get them into the house. I am so proud to be affiliated with a company that truly walks the walk about bringing the world to children, promoting understanding, literacy, and creativity.
