As a retired children’s librarian, I am uniquely qualified to recognize excellence in children’s literature, and Barefoot Books exceeds my high standards! I have a strong background in education after years of working as a school librarian and with educational programs such as Montessori and International Baccalaureate. Because of these experiences, I am a valuable resource for recommending the perfect titles to educators, librarians, and other adults with children in their lives.

I have hosted hundreds of book fairs and can tailor a book fair to meet your school's needs. I do all the work, and your school earns free books. I can do in-person book fairs in the Central Texas area and online book fairs for schools anywhere in the lower 48 states in the U.S.
