Sandra Ann Horn has had a number of books published. She grew up in Crowborough, England, where the seasonal changes inspired her later writing. She recalls how her grandparents, aunts and uncles would all gather in the evenings to tell stories of their childhoods. Sandra has been writing "for the sheer pleasure of it" ever since.

Sophie Fatus is a full-time artist who is known for her exuberant illustrations. She was born in Paris into a family of artists and now lives in Florence with her partner and two cats.
