She travels widely and tries to capture different ways of seeing the world in her books for children and young adults. She lives in New York, USA.
Illustrated by - Maya Christina Gonzalez
Maya Christina Gonzalez is an artist, author, activist, progressive educator and illustrator of more than twenty picture books. Her work has won the Pura Belpreé Award and been named to Kirkus's Best Picture Books That Celebrate Diversity list, among other recognitions. Maya lives in San Francisco, USA, where she cofounded and runs her own publishing press and online school with her partner.
