Looking for a meaningful way to bring books that celebrate diversity and capture imaginations to the families, schools and children in your community? This is just what our Community Booksellers do! This group of passionate book lovers attend events in their areas — from farmers’ markets to school book fairs — and sell our beautiful books that open children’s hearts, minds and worlds, and make book recommendations based on the needs of their communities.

Anyone can become a Barefoot Books Community Bookseller. If you’re passionate about diverse & inclusive children’s books and getting them into the hands of kids who need them, join us!

How Does it Work? 1: Register to become a member of the Community Bookseller program. 2: Order products from Barefoot at a 50% discount 3: Sell books to your community at events in your area for the full retail price (and earn a 50% profit).

Membership fee includes:

  • A Starter Kit delivered straight to your door including: a collection of Barefoot bestsellers, a branded table runner and a Barefoot Books table sign
  • 50% up-front discount on Barefoot Books products (earning you 50% profit on all sales)
  • The ability to earn 30% commission on orders placed through your own personal Barefoot Books website link
  • Online and in-person training and business resources
  • A platform to create online book fairs - invite organizations to earn free books while you earn a commission
  • An invitation to our private Community Bookseller Facebook group
