Linda's Barefoot Story
My name is Linda Lee. I became a Barefoot Books Community Bookseller in 2024. I have been in Early Childhood Education for over 35 years and am an Assistant Director in a school for three-month-olds through five-year-olds.
A family at our school introduced me to Barefoot Books. We held a book fair, and I fell in love. When I found Barefoot Books, I found an organization that thrives on excellent content, diversity, uniqueness, and fun. We must teach our children about diversity and uniqueness, including worldwide cultures and traditions. It is very important to me to include social-emotional learning in children's education. This includes building empathy and compassion in our children and loving helping others.
