Discover a sculpture and StoryWalk™ inspired by the profound influence of the African diaspora on traditions in the U.S. and around the globe, while underscoring the vital role of storytelling in connecting us to our shared heritage. What do you stand for?” Community Art Project and Storytime Saturday, April 19th Community Art Project: 10am - 4pm Storytime and Discussion: 1:30pm - 2pm Location: The Concord Museum Join us for the family-friendly Patriots' Day celebrations in Concord, MA at the Concord Museum! Enjoy a lively storytime of our brand new book Rise Up!: Powerful Protests in American History (Barefoot Books) at 1:30pm and learn about 25 movements towards positive change that helped shape our country. Happening all day, you’ll have the chance to get hands-on with our community art project and tell us: “What do you stand for?” Plus, don’t miss our outdoor StoryWalk™ of Rise Up! 	Create Your Own Protest Art Activity and Storytime with Barefoot Books Saturday, April 19th Create Your Own Protest Art: 1pm - 6pm Storytime and Discussion: 3pm - 3:30pm Location: The Concord Scout House Join us for the family-friendly Patriots' Day celebrations in Concord, MA at the Concord Scout House! Rise up, take a stand, and get creative by making your own protest art for positive change at our craft tables.
