Julianne's Barefoot Story
My family was first introduced to Barefoot Books in 2009 when my oldest two sons were little. Fondly recalled are the hours spent poring over Thesaurus Rex and The House That Jack Built. The stories were perfect for their toddler minds, and the colorful illustrations kept them engaged long after we finished telling. It was love at first read.
Fast forward a few years, we are now a family of six children, ages 7 to 15, who are growing up with Barefoot Books…and a big, huge, gigantic love for reading! That our children love to read, write, illustrate their own stories, and explore the world in remarkable ways is my biggest WHY ever...the reason why we choose Barefoot Books for our family!
