In September, we had the honor of attending the Books For Africa 35th Anniversary Gala in Minneapolis! We were so excited to celebrate this longtime Barefoot partner and connect with other global organizations doing amazing work.

Since 1988, Books For Africa has shipped over 58 million books, and today remains the largest shipper of donated text and library books to the African continent. In 2019, it was our privilege and an honor to partner with Books For Africa and COVida to distribute 300,000 books into the hands of orphans and vulnerable children affected by AIDS in Mozambique. This year, we worked with them to distribute 70,000 books in Malagasy to children in Madagascar.
